Why Lotti & her dad frequented her restaurants so they could give her business and leave her big ol tips. But if He bought the restaurant for Tiana then technically it wouldn’t be a handout, it’s an investment and that would make them business partners.

Mary you should definitely check out High strung, it's everything I feel that u guys have felt missing out on this movie, High strung is more energetic and connective and the characters are really good at it, be sure to check it out

Commentary between you two got me cacking at the office 😂 loving the collabs. I havent watched this since it came out when i was a high school senior. I forgot there was a flux in dance movies around that time. Always though they were so cringy but the nostalgia still hit 😊

Awesome collab. It’s beautiful how the start of the movie and ending of the movie dance show the same thing. A perfect mixture of ballet and hip hop dancing and in the final scene it actually finally comes together

If any other movie series had this much action, I'd be bored to tears, but it's more meaningful here, and the film is downright artistic in its execution and ability to tell a story with so few words. With all of that said, it did still go on a bit long for me. Having recently seen Furiosa, I think I prefer that one. Fury Road is tighter, but Furiosa is helped by telling a much longer story, with more development. Fury Road felt more real than the earlier movies. I mean, there's all kinds of ridiculousness in it, but it still felt more down-to-earth and believable in a solid, brutal sort of way. I'd say the same thing about Tom Hardy's Max compared to Mel Gibson's. Gibson's feels more like a character in a movie to me. With that said, I don't necessarily love Tom Hardy's Max, so maybe it's a mixed bag. But with all of the visual storytelling, and the fact that it's more Furiosa's story than Max's, I don't think that Hardy's acting is honestly _that_ important. As long as he didn't screw it up, which I don't think he did, it'd be okay. To me, this film felt like it took Mad Max to a whole new level, to the point where it's difficult to even compare it to the earlier stuff. Especially in light of hindsight, the previous films just didn't feel like they had the budget and/or technical capability to do what they wanted to do (or at least should've wanted to do), and so ended up feeling a bit thin in some respects. Prior to Fury Road, I always felt like the idea of the Mad Max movies was cooler than the actual execution. So from most favorite to least, I'd go: 5, 4, 2, 3, 1. But while I think 3 is more fun to watch than 1, I might actually have more respect for 1 and the conditions under which it was made. It's a cult classic and was paving new ground. And 2 obviously took the franchise forward and radically changed the world. 3, on the other hand, didn't evolve that much from 2.
